Keep your food waste caddy clean with compostable & biodegradable liners
Cleaning your food waste caddy or bin every couple of days can be annoying. Although it’s not a major issue, we’re all busy and it’s yet another thing we have to do and isn’t it much nicer when things are simple? Most councils will allow you to line your food waste caddy with either newspaper or a compostable and biodegradable food waste bag. Using food waste bags keeps your caddy clean and helps to reduce odour. Every liner we sell is made from corn starch and is 100% compostable and biodegradable. They also carry the European standard seedling logo and are certified to BS EN 13432:2000.
Our customers say that our liners are stronger than competitors, high quality and great value for money. As the liners are biodegradable and compostable they need to be kept in a cool place away from direct sunlight and should be used within 12 months of purchase. You should also allow hot items, such as tea bags, to cool before putting them in the liner. Visit our recycling, caddies and liners section to view our range of liners, from 5 litres to 240 litres for wheelie bins and our collection of food waste bins and caddies. We work with a number of councils up and down the country, helping them with their food waste schemes. Visit our council schemes page to find out if we’re helping your council with their food waste collection scheme and which liners are being used in your area.
