The Smelter is the smallest member of the Wire Fire range and is perfect for those that want to add an outdoor fire that doesn't take up too much space. The Smelter is constructed from 12mm solid round bar and 11mm wire rope. The Steel wire has been treated with a heat proof coating and has also been lightly oiled to ensure its longevity for years to come. The Smelter will gradually oxidise which will change the colour to a deep ochre. The oxidisation process can be accelerated by leaving the Smelter outdoors between use. The oxidisation process will have no impact on the durability of this product.
